It has indeed been a great day! We enjoyed the play and went to Applebee's afterward.
Gabrielle has been a delight to be with and 'her' young man is really nice. I like how he interacts with us and Kevin seems to get along with him, too.
There is only one thing wrong. Please forgive me a moment of whining.
I miss My Michael!
It is really getting hard, you guys. Please lift us in prayer if and when God calls us to mind. We'll see each other Dec 21st, but that is A.LONG.TIME. from now.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
I will encounter various trials that I will count ALL JOY. (grossly paraphrased)

I will be praying for you in a special way! I remember when my own husband was in Okinawa and we were left behind ~ what a tough and lonely year that was!
The most interesting thing about that year though, was the fact that I grew more spiritually in that year than I had ever grown before! God has a way of drawing us close when we have nothing else to distract our hearts.
I'm looking forward to seeing you in March.

I don't really know how you military wifes do it. You all have a special place in my heart, the sacrifices you make each day for our freedom. I can't say thank you enough.
