... that I'm sick as a dog and couldn't make it.
... that the kids are ill and I'm tending their needs
... that the car wouldn't start
But I can't. Truth be known I'm lazy. We all stayed up too late last night and ignored the alarm when it went off. BOTH cars are in excellent running condition, though with gas at $3.13 a gallon the cars not starting may become a true reality.
Truth be known I didn't want to race the clock and the hot water heater. I rationalize that it's OK to have a day like this every now and then. That kind of thinking has allowed these kind of days to become the habit rather then the exception.
I guess that's all I can say about that.
