Date #2

Michael and went to dinner Friday night. We shared a plate at a Mexican place. Very nice even though I did take a few phone calls from Gabrielle. There was a reason, ordinarily I turn the phone to vibrate and call her back after dinner. Michael was patient. Then after we eat he asked if we could go to the Exchange to get him some running shoes. He's only been needing a pair for a year now. At the beginning of the meal I was ready to go, now that the meal was over I needed to get home to my Gab. He was fine with it and agreed. When we arrived home we found that Gab's crisis had passed and she was on the phone. Then Kevin got a call from a friend saying that there were WII's at the Exchange. I looked at Michael and said we got to go! I dashed out the door jumped into the passengers side, put the keys in the ignition and had the car cranked before he got there. All the way there he ragged me about how a WII came before his shoes. The store was closed so we came home. I should have let him blog this because he was having great fun with it and had me rolling in the floor. After he spent 10 minutes reassuring me that he really wasn't upset at all, he was just ribbing me about it.

He was up and at the store when it opened and got the last one for Kevin. Kevin has been saving since last July for this game. We have been chasing these tips for months and Kevin just didn't even wan tto get his hopes up. This is the only reason we didn't make him go with Michael to get the game.

Anyhow, Michael got his shoes as well. Every one was happy.
